  • I was surprised to find this wine in our cellar and thought it was likely no longer drinkable - not the case. It was excellent. A 12 year old white from Oregon? Wow. Still had excellent color, floral notes .. really excellent. I didn’t think a 12 year old white wine from Oregon could keep that long. If we used Cellar Tracker more judiciously, we would have drank it sooner!

  • Oxidation is showing visually and in the tasting, with lots of secondary flavors. This is slightly detracting. Very mature. Past the prime drinking window. It will get more funky rather than elegant with further aging. Drink now.

  • Rich gold. Mild sherry and oak nose. Tasted at the winery. Really sang compared to the 2015 and 2022 that were also offered. Complexity, mild and integrated oak with a hint of oxidation. Perfect drinking window now. Unfortunately, sold out!

  • Mature Oregon Chardonnay showing the evolution to rich gold color with complex nutty and dried fruit aromas repeated on the palate. Round and smooth without the bitter elements often introduced with too much oak. A dramatically different wine than the fresh, crisp, minerally expression when first released. May not appeal to those who prefer the freshness of younger chardonnays, but appreciably more complex now. Should probably drink up soon before it enters a more oxidized phase.

  • Surprisingly toasty and almondy aroma - for its age previous vintages have seemed fresher.
Pleasant fruity flavor at entry but quickly to almond skin and tacky texture and flavor.
Seems an outlier compared to previous vintages, but do enjoy candied flavor of citrus and tropical fruits.
