Aerated with a Vinturi and decanted for one hour. Nose of blackberry, huckleberry, bramble and spice. Ripe black and blue fruit, spice and bramble on the palate. Lingering finish. Full bodied. Served with grilled marinated tuna steaks,

Great floral-berry nose. Balanced, smoked meats, big pepper, iron, olive, leather in the background with bright black raspberry up front. Might be the best Syrah for $48 in the US. Pop and poured. Drink or hold.

P&P on Brian's porch. In a much better place than the last bottle. Full-bodied, deeply colored and very rich in the mouth. Blackberry, green peppercorn, tobacco and earth. Good stuff and drinking well from the pop.

My third TN for this wine
Still contending that this is the best Patrina the folks at Alban have put together (Parker rates the 2020 version very high - we shall see)
Remains a very deep and complex wine that is approachable right out of the bottle.
Thick and unctuous with dark berry and floral notes bursting from the glass. Multi-layered with different notes on the secondary palate
Pairs well with spicy chicken
