Equal amounts of PN and Chardonnay. This is a really excellent, well-balanced, solid Champagne, and seemed nicely mature given it's from a relatively recent vintage. The first half of the bottle was bright, lifted and zesty, with orange peel and a herbal edge. With more air the wine's richer, more oxidative side showed itself, with nuts, dried fruit and lactic fudge all joining the juicy, appley fruit. There was a long, deeply flavoured finish too. Quite impressed!

A private dinner (Restaurant De Lage Vuursche, Lage Vuursche, NL): A blend of 50% Pinot Noir from Éceuil and 50% Chardonnay from Chamery (both Premier Cru), partially aged in demi-muid, undisclosed disgorgement date, dosage 6 gr/l. Wonderfully crisp and minerally, fierce acidity balanced by just enough dosage, pure and clean and precise, with lots of tart lemon and comforting spice, subtle bitters, very good length.

Chalky on the palate, but with soft and friendly sweet citrus and apple fruits. Nicely integrated acidity and a refreshing quality that makes this an excellent bottle.

(Disgorged in 2019, 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay, dosage 6 gr/l) Lovely maturing nose showing butterscotch, and some herbal notes. Filled with a fresh citrus acidity that dominates the palate into the mid to late and with a very pleasant finish where the butterscotch notes comes back and is combined with some fresh citrus zest notes. (Best 2023-2033)

Lots of lemon, super fresh. High intensity. Very young at this stage but promising. Loved it.
