So smooth and delicious. I must really love my spouse, I am calm even though the decanter got knocked over and spilled >50% of the bottle. Wish I could find my other one!

I noticed some sediment in this my last bottle of '04 so strained and decanted for one half hour before serving at a community wine lovers/Thanksgiving event. There is little fruit left at this stage but with some nose and acidity, it worked with the turkey and variety of sides.

Wellington wines are well made and this bottle, despite its age, was no exception. As Panda noted in April, some of the nose and jamminess is gone but it drank well with oven roasted Turkey.

(Wellington Zinfandel) #3; VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-dark; NOSE-loaded w/ really dark cassis juice; cherry; a little clove; TASTE-it's not your fruit bomb zin; it's OK; a little hollow on the mid-palate; and it has a hot finish; GV-81

Still good, jamminess has faded and tastes are muted. Heading past prime

Initially tasted a little watery and flat. However opened up after some time in glass. Fruit has faded, leaving an interesting tobacco and oak finish.
