Flesh from a black cherry, with cherry stone minerality buried deep. Super concentrated, powerful and structured, yet plush at the same time. There’s so much here but a long sleep in the cellar is required.

Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair tasting with Moestue (Territoriet): Slight preference for the Aux Cras. The nose shows raspberries, some darker berries and a slightly earthy chocolaty note. Good weight of fruit and quite a lot of «grand cru power», but lacking some of the precision and elegance of some of the Domaines top wines. Well integrated tannins and a great wine. Just in excellent company. Score: 94(-) points
