A beautiful gold color, the nose reminds me of candied Johnny-Jump-Ups on top of a sour cream sugar cookie. The taste is creamy, like a clover-fed Brown Swiss cow butter, yet lingers in my lower jaw with an acidity to balance the cheesecake I’m about to imbibe. The berry flavors finally hit the back of the palate, which will make the strawberries & blackberries sing beautifully.

Fresh and piercing notes of citrus, stone fruit, dried tropical fruits, and all things honeyed. Medium plus acid, excellent tension, moderate botrytis, highly appealing finish. In the traditional style. Seamless 13 percent alcohol. Delicious!

Very young, in fact I might call this infanticide, but was compelled to open and drink at this early stage for a class - still a very good expression of Sauternes at a wallet-friendly price. Pale gold color (another indicator of its youth) with aromas of ginger, brown sugar, honeysuckle and marzipan. Medium acidity was more than I was expecting; rich and succulent on the palate with a medium+ finish.

Very light. Light sweetness, light botrytis, light mouthfeel.

Split, enjoyed with a savory and balanced blue.

Aromas of orange and honey, the palate was the same but with some dried apricots. Great with blue cheese
