Fresh. Some citrus in the bouquet. The taste is crispy with fresh citrus acidity, minerals and good bitterness. No real complexity, but very pure. A real pleasure to drink.

Saturday afternoon at Richard and Trille's (Moiano): Medium yellow. Lovely nose of fruits, flowers and minerality. Same on palate, along with some toasty flavours; dry with moderate alcohol and crisp acidity. Long, complex, fresh and pleasing in every way. Best Sicilian white wine I have tasted, made from four autochthonous varieties: Grillo, Catarratto, Carricante and Zibibbo. My WOTN.
