Likely a good year or so past its peak, but still in a pretty good place right now. This was my only one (a 1.5L) but if I had more, I'd be drinking them much sooner than later.

Maybe 93 is a bit high but damn this is a nice wine that show new aromas every time I go back to the glass. First opened was stewed tomato and red apple. But 39 minutes of decanting is classic Cab. Cassis, pencil lead and some acetone. Powdered sugar, cherry.

(Neal Family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley) Like all Neal bottlings, this is 100% CCOF-certified: a seamless, velvet-textured blend of pure Howell Mountain, Rutherford, Atlas Peak, and Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon. The feel is thick and viscous, with layerings of sweet black fruit, cedar, and peppermint tinged with smoky, pungent mocha and espresso characteristics. Organic Grape Growing in Napa Valley

Dark. In peak form showing so much black fruit in a softening framework.

Dark rich blackberries and still firm tannins. Needs lots of air. Delicious.
