Year-end gathering with high-school friends: From magnum. Bought this from a firesale and what a bargain it was. Made in a more serious, Burgundian style despite the hipster label. Bit Gevrey-ish with dark berry fruit but with a sweeter core. A pleasant discovery.

Perhaps the best Gamay I have ever had and this was six years old! Lots of dark black cherry surrounded by earthiness and old leather. Full palate with soft tannin, moderate acidity and moderate alcohol. Lengthy finish. Matched up well with grilled marinated chicken breasts. WISH I had more of the 2015!
