  A little extra time in bottle helped this wine. Fruit seemed a bit more juicy and open on the palate. Tons of ripe, juicy red fruit on both the nose and palate with good acidity. Ripeness almost gives an impression of sweetness on the palate. Very tasty barbera.

  Very dark crimson color, almost purple. Ripe black cherry and dark juicy plum notes on the nose. Some baking spice notes coming through as well. Definitely comes across on the bigger/riper side of barbera and not surprising given the 15% on the label. Ripe, juicy dark red fruits on the nose. Medium acid and tannin. Smooth mouthfeel. Overall, tasty and well made barbera but a bit ripe for me.
