Just so good. Bit of sponti on the nose that blew off (not bothersome at all) but this is a very singular wine. Does not taste at all like most 22’s I’ve had, and I mean that in a good way.
Absolutely one of the most mineral-driven GG’s I’ve had. Like licking salty stones with some lime pith and light green apple notes. Hint of dried herbs (thyme-like) and all framed up by searing acids. Sort of a Chablis-like take on Chardonnay if we were to look across varietals. Letting my other bottles sleep for at least 3-5 years, but this is a style many burg heads would love. 93++ from me as I think there’s a lot of upside but likely selling this wine short drinking it today…

PnP, 12.5% Alc., high end natural cork, clear pale yellow color.
Nose: Classic S-F stinker, ein bißchen faule Eier, H2S, unique, love it!
Palate: Full of energy, laser-like with a brilliant salt trail, high acidity, yet everything is well buffered and very good balanced. Behind it some sweetness with clean white stone fruit flavors.
Clearly better than 2021, outstanding, most exciting Riesling 2022 so far!
Typical SF nose, floral minerality, green hay, citrus, wet stones, some white pepper, a little bit drying on the palate, concentrated, but missing some depth (compared to other vintages)

Moderate and Youthful on the nose with Flinty minerality, Citrus and green appels.
On the palette again youthful. High crispy acidity, citrus, green appel, some peach and great minerality. an exciting and long finish.
impressed by this one one of the standouts of the tasting

Howard Ripley German GG tasting (RSC, Burlington House): AP number 24 23. Smoky/fumy SF jumps out of the glass. Loads of ripe citrus and complexity; not my style.
