Effervescence still very much alive. Powerful nose with roasted aromas, almonds and honey.
The palate is incredibly rich. The juice has an insane density but it has a magnificent flavor. This champagne is honey with bubbles. It lines the mouth leaving toasted and pastry flavors. Outstanding balance, the wine is layered and complex with great freshness. Great finish as intense as it is unexpected on the flowers over a sharp and infinite length.
Great champagne. I have never been disappointed with an oenothèque version.

Oustanding. Perfect balance between fruit and acidity. Full-bodied Dom style at its best. I have preferred the 1990 up until drinking this particular bottle of the 1988, whcih I haven't tried in a year or so.

Sydney 1st Growth Bordeaux/Grand Cru Burgundy Dinner (Marque Restaurant): Very fine bead. Nose and palate show exceptional freshness and vitality. Nose shows some cut grass like aromas as well as strawberry, mushroom and citrus. Lacks some of the aged complexity of the Krug, but makes up for it with its supreme elegance and length.
