  • Kind of a throwback to creamy Chardonnays of of, but certainly not over the top. Very fine intensity and excellent ripeness. Full malolactic style. Plenty of youthful complexity of display. This is classy and delicious, in a particular style.

  • Hearkens back to “old-school” new world Chardonnay that offer buttery oak and very intense flavours. This is really delicious, already drinking very well. The concentration of the wine is very impressive, almost too much of a good thing, but there is class in the powerhouse!

  • With Lloyd and Cally - really impressive. Young, with bracing oak tannin structure framing the taut fruit. This is not buttery, but rather more mineral in nature, with gorgeously ripe fruit quality. Very fine and will obviously age well.

  • With J, after Wozzeck (seared salmon, asparagus, mashed potatoes, salsa verdi) excellent wine with classy fruit nuance, sophisticated oak, and a very refined structure. Certainly a step to two above the regular cuvée. A touch of reduction currently, as it has just been released.
