  Ripe red fruits with zippy acidity. Tannins were there in force…would have helped to air out the wine a bit. Will let my other bottle sit for a few years. Went really nicely with a simple roasted chicken.

I liked this but didn’t get much of a sense of its personality. Some time in the cellar might bring out more distinctiveness, but it’s a pleasing bottle either way, and reasonably priced.
