Nice medium weight wine....better on 2nd day. Didn't pick up much complexity, but it had solid fruit, earth & nose. For $33/bottle, not sure I'd buy again. But, very Burgundian, which I love as we live in a world of 14-15% alcohol pinots!

Burg wine tasting (Shreveport, LA): Initial distant cow barnyard on the nose that quickly faded to honeysickle and cherry. The palate was cherry with a little raspberry and tulip. Medium weight. Lovely light red color.

nose: good nose of black spices, earth, and bits of red fruits. Very nice nose, but lacking depth and not very expressive either. Fairly standard nose for a village wine at this stage
taste: medium/high acidity strikes you right off the bat with balanced tones of red fruits, raspberries, and earthen tones. Good balance, but a bit thrashed by acidity at this young stage
overall: a nice young village wine. Good light feel with medium/light depth, this should open up a bit more(and be much better) in three years or so. Its a good value and brings an attractive flavor profile for those that love burgundy

House of Glunz - A Fine Tasting of Burgundy (Old Town, Chicago, IL. Near the Northwest corner of Wells and Division Streets): Overall: Nice tart taste with some slight acetone notes; raspberry dodging around somewhere. Not a big fan. 85-87 points.
