Slightly oxidized but it was very pleasant. Had without food at room temperature. Food would have helped but room temp. Was perfect. Thought it would pair nicely with a pan seared white fish with almonds

Well three years since the last bottle and it has become old school rioja Deep gold colour Nose very oxidised, some vinegar, nuts and lemons, vanilla In the mouth there's a creamy texture, with a sharp acetic tang Then layers of nuts, almonds and hazelnuts Getting on for vin jaune now Won't be for everyone but it was great with fried salmon and potatoes

very oaky nose, sweet oak, vanilla, hint of VA, touch of sherry initially very full-bodied, oily almost luckily lots of acidity, some lemony fruit more sweet oak, butterscotch, vanilla savoury, dry finish very long, elegant Really enjoyable wine with fish pie. It is very oaky but there's plenty of acidity to back it up. A modern style white rioja but some hints of that old magic, a little vinegar, a little sherry tang. Aging nicely, would love to try again in 5 years and see if it's turned into old-fashioned white rioja.

From 75cl, spongey cork. Strong lemon acidity and oak; astringent and rather volatile (turpentine?) I had hoped this would open up with a few years in bottle, but actually enjoyed it more 2 years ago. 84P
