Clear yellow with medium viscosity in the glass. Nose of terpene, citrus, honey and stone fruit. Medium body with svelt volcanic minerals, honey, white peach and citrus on the palate. Sturdy acidic structure couldn't hold its cloying fruit. Medium finish. Well made, but marred by too much sweetness.

K&L German Tasting (K&L, San Francisco): Less aromatic. clean nose, some residual sugar, very well balanced without overbearing acidity. Lovely peaches and pear. Can age a few years.

Very enjoyable Riesling. It went extremely well with the strawberries and the goat cheese (Chev re). It also went well with the 2nd course, Thai egg rolls. Can't give a balanced rating because I was too busy hosting.

- Light gold color - A real crowd pleaser. Tropical fruit and very refreshing finish. Could use a bit more acidity.

Solid riesling that offers excellent value. It has sweet and pleasant fruit but lacks a bit of the acidity. Nice finish.
