AP 20 02. Pop and pour. Medium yellow-gold. Sandalwood (to me this is a flag for older botrytis) on top of caramelized lime and peach. This is barely sweet tasting, but really getting suave. My guess is this is turning the corner into secondary notes, but there's not a lot of minerality showing or petrol. Drinkable now, but hold.

Twenty-plus years from release, and it’s still unfolding its mysteries. Tonight’s bottle has a coconut cream element, along with apple and peach fruit. It’s balanced, presenting all its facets in equal measure. There’s a wisdom here, where all things are in their proper place.

Last bottle. No leak. Mold on top of cork but clean below the surface, saturated about lower 2/3. Color is deep yellow to light hold, entering maturity. Muted nose. On the palate a little honey on the attack, with peaches, apples, lime, and lemon on the palate. N9t do persistent on the finish.. Disappointing, especially considering the vintage. Drink or hold.
Served with pulled pork tostadas.

Popped one of these a week ago at a friend's place and it's still beautiful. Shoot at will, friends!
