Pale lemon yellow color. Aromas of grapefruit, citrus zest, yellow flowers, a hint of rose, and chalk. On the palate, this is crisp and tart, showing a citrus core with bitter melon, grapefruit, meyer lemon, and a racy chalky/mineral streak that carries into a long, tart, finish that has a bit of bitterness to it. Gets spicy as it airs, particularly on the finish, which also picks up some heat. Great apertif, salad, or white fish wine. Should play well with shellfish too. Very good. Drink now for freshness.

From the river valley, 100% Godello, lees contact, all the way through. Great minerality and freshness, body and liveliness. Lively, lovely. A bit more "luxiouris than chardonnay" they say.

Wine Education Service - Galicia (LSE): Bright greenish gold. Creamy, complex, interesting. Refreshing, good weight and balance, quite an opulent feel in the mid palate, bitter finish, great length.

Crisp and still fresh and bright. Good acid but not harsh at all. Very good (86.5).

Rich and buttery. Like a rich Chardonnay almost, but crisper. High good (84.5).
