Rather evolved (by eye and on the nose) for a wine of this age. There is an oxydized element to this wine but it is limited and integrated into the other elements so that is actually brings complexity to the nose. Great fruit character. Palate is massive for a premier cru, there is a lot of material but perfectly in balance as the acidity lifts the whole structure up. Oxydized character is less apparent in the palate. Good length. Definitely worth of it's pedigree, but wouldn't keep too long for aging

Opened up nicely, mineral, lemon peel, and fresh citrus nose. Medium body, complex and good length. Beautiful puligny les perrieres.
