Enjoyed with appetizers and cheeses New Year's Eve 2012. This Zin continues to evolve and surprise. Still drinking beautifully with no sign of letting up. Still a 92 in my book.

Surprising Zin. A touch smoky, with plenty of fruits but not overwhelming. Slight pepper/spice but it isn't too hot. Very pleasantly surprised. Popped and poured.

This is a very different Zin. Far more complex than I was originally looking for. This wine needs decanting and time to open up. Outstanding with food. There's a lot going on here and I wouldn't be surprised to see it last several more years.

Excellent old-world style zin. Forget the spicy fruit things you get at the grocery. This will not take like boozy mace. There's just enough of the spicy/pepper on the back end to compliment spicy foods, but the front is more subtle with subdued fruit. Lighter in color than most zins from the area. Only caution is that I'm not sure it would cellar well. I'm betting the drinking window doesn't go beyond 2010 on this one.

Lots and lots and lots of fruit but not overextracted. Jammy, big and meaty like a good zin should be.
