Day one. Deep bronze center, orange rim. Quince jelly, oranges, butterscotch, lime jam, toasty. Marmalade, smooth and sweet, lime jam, good acidity, caramel, fantastic length - minutes. Great dessert wine. Ready now, will last longer (5-10 years).

On day three, for what it's worth. Deep bronze center, yellow rim, with some age. Sweet butterscotch, acidity, barley sugar, a touch metallic. Smooth, rich, sugar, caramel, ginger, good acidity but this isn't going to last a long time, wonderful (and very long) finish of butterscotch and sugar. Excellent TBA from Kracher - drinking well now, but will be great another 5+ years from now.

(Weingut Kracher Trockenbeerenauslese Chardonnay #10 Nouvelle Vague) Sweet and tropical, lush and clean, it finishes with a charming grapefruit-and-spice note. Winery Spotlight: Weingut Kracher

From 375. China King. Very sweet of course. Enough acidity to balance, which is no small task. Beautiful intense and deep peach/apricot fruit.
