Straightforward wine. Some green chile flavors - not as prevalent as the last bottle. Nice balance of tannins. A unique tingle on the tip of the tongue. Other flavors include chalk, vanilla, and light, unripe berries. A good value for the price.

Had at a wine tasting. First thing 8 of us noticed was the strong aroma and flavor of green chile peppers. First wine any of us have had that has this flavor. I personally loved it - ranked this wine #2 of of 6 wines we drank - and that included a $50 and $40 bottle. But, the group ranked it 4/6. The green chile taste is definitely a love/hate thing. In addition to that, I thought it had a black pepper, berry, and herb flavors and on the nose. This wine was very complex for the price point, a good drinker, but the green chile is definitely something to be aware of when buying it.

The last Carmenere of the night and all I have in my notes is: sweet, ripe, burnt, green, short. Not impressed but I didn't really give this wine a chance to evolve.

Admirably ripe for Carmenère, very fresh and juicy currants and plum fruit, with tobacco and loads of spicy green herbs. Restrained smoke on the ripe, spicy, finish. Nicely done. (Drink Now) - JD88

Decent wine, but green notes very off-putting for me.
