Light gold, seemed advanced. Sweeter than some Foreau demi-secs, we drank this with Momofuku Bo Ssam. Perhaps a challenging choice and this style of wine only works with certain dishes. Enjoyable, but seemed to need a little more acidity. The wine was more bitter after being in the fridge overnight, but was much more savory and interesting. Bleu cheese made it taste like a dry white. Maybe this wine needs a little more time or decanting? Foreau is a great wine maker.

PNP- Drank at 13C celler temperature. Dark straw colour with orange/copper hints.Burnt orange peel nose. Rich medium sweet beeswax and honey and burnt orange flavours mid palate, finishing dry. After 15 minutes more complex secondary flavours, a bit musty. Starting to get a bit tired so drink up.

Less acidity than I expected. Took a half hour to really get going, but when it did it really showed out. Aromatics jumped out of glass; limestone, lime, peach, tangerine, sage. Beautiful weight, acid was probably medium plus, but got showed lower with balancing sugars and ripe fruit. Great streak of salinity throughout the breadth of the palate. Finish was long with succulent aforementioned fruit, with melon, sage and brown sugar.

To begin with straight out from the bottle I liked it as it showed nice fruit and felt refreshing. Like a white burgundy without the oak and heaviness, but then as it got more and more air it fell apart. Think 9 years is too much already for this wine. Didn't feel like a wine built to age.
