Very good wine. Nicely balanced. Nose was somewhat muted. However, good length in the mouth with Apricot, honey, mineral elements on palate and a pleasing viscosity. Was worried I waited too long to drink, but not at all the case. Nice example of aged Cal chard. DuMols seem to age very well.

Surprised by how much I enjoyed this, especially on the palate. On the nose, bruised apples, orchard fruit, some oak (a tad too much for me). The palate was delicious though - complex mix of citrus fruit, tropical fruits, apple. Ample, lip smacking, acidity - which I loved. The acidity keeps this fresh and lively, despite some oxidation, which I enjoyed for the nuttiness imparted. Not sure I would have liked this wine so much when younger - too much oak and too fruit forward, I suspect. But in its present state, I really loved this. Clearly, some CA Chards can age well - have also had luck with Auteur's Chards, both Hyde and Durell.

Popped-and-poured. Dark golden color. Ripe and very mature when first poured. Much more advanced 15 minutes later and no longer drinkable after open 30 minutes. Purchased from DuMOL at release and stored properly since then.

Opened on thanksgiving, beautiful golden hue. Nose of faint citrus and a little oak. Wonderfully smooth on the palate with great balance. Very good wine.

Very good Sonoma Chardonnay...but too ripe and oaky for my personal taste.
