Still quite lively. Dark fruits, peppercorns, touch of herbs/tea. Med+ body has slimmed down a bit vs the last bottle a few years back. Still decent backend structure, but I'd probably drink in the next couple years.

Black color & fruits throughout, with a touch of dried florals & pepper showing themselves as well. Strong acid backbone & tannins show with air; will wait a few years on the next bottle.

Nose: Tue nose is pitched to more black fruits with black cherries, black raspberries, black pepper, violets, and incense.
Taste: Full bodied with medium acidity and chewy tannins. The feel is plush and with California fruit, but there is a cooler sensibility to the feel with black cherries, potpourri, violets, black raspberries, and black pepper.
Overall: This is hitting the spots right now. The tannins clamp down a bit after a couple of hours open. There is a lovely peppery streak to this with expelling balance.

Excellent Syrah, this powerful beast is reminiscent of the Northern Rhone with its vibrant dark fruit that continues throughout the mid-palate and finsihes with intensity that doesn't want to end.

Love this. Balanced and beautiful dark fruit and mouthwatering acidity still.
Needs decant for sediment
