  • From Montsant DO, the larger region that surrounds Priorat. 100% Grenache (or Garnatxa) - 15% ABV. This has the classic Priorat nose of iodine and Blueberries, same on the palate - really very good and drinking perfectly today. I imagine this will last a few more years, given its structure. It has a fresh grippy attack of acidity and tannin, which perfectly balances the gorgeous sweet ripe fruit. Plums bluberries, Iodine and saline notes, with a hint of raspberries. Good depth, long finish. Great wine.

  • 4th btl from small case. Young looking ruby color. Lean and focused despite high alcohol level. Long finish on dark red berries, ethereal. Great showing.

  • Seems to come back alive now, after a disappointing bottle earlier. Big wine, needs a decant, light youthful colour, somewhat loose-knit nose which I would explain with it's high alcool level, but intense and complex flavors, delicious red fruits, persistent finish. An unresistable Cru!
