Last of 12, decanted 15 minutes, soft cork, ullaged half inch, still pale, leggy, marvellous intensity and nuance to orchard fruit, remarkably fresh and pure, fine stone minerality, notable lemon cut; medium, long, notably persistent and concentrated whilst beautifully balanced, maybe not quite as impressive as my last bottle in 08, but a revelation even so. VF+ (19)........why don't they make proper Burgs like this any more!!!!!!

Developed and just drying out a tad. The nose is all honey and toast. There are some orchard fruit flavours and something earthy and woodsy. It still has just a faint kiss of minerally acidity to the finish.

Much better. Old but weighty. Still good definition, but showing its age. Better after 30 minutes of airtime.

Good god! Nose is sweet oak slightly woody. Palate has slight sweet sulfer power drive. So Damn good.
