Oregon vs. Burgundy Single Blind (Tilia, Mpls): Light gold color. Drank 1 glass over about 20 minutes. I wasn't real focused at this point, getting here late and trying to get organized, but I preferred this slightly over the Argyle. This was consistent with previous bottles, solid performance with nice tart citrus, foamy minerality and well balanced.

I'd lost my mojo for this wine a while back. The best thing I can say about it is that its cheap for French BdB. But, it fails to deliver a dime more of experience than the $35 you'll pay for it. Its a balanced, pleasant and somewhat linear, light weight, BdB with hint of trop fruit that will never leave you saying ,wow. Lacking the concentration of better examples from the area. Just not enough there, there even at only $35, for my wallet. From the hallowed chardonnay ground of Avize but you wouldn't know it. No terroir showing here. Other folks love this wine so I'm an outlier. Should be priced sub $30.

One of my last btls from a fall purchase and delivery last year. This btl seems to have taken on weight and complexity over the past 8 months since I received it. Best btl of the batch.

Monthly Tasting Group: Spain (Solera, Mpls, MN): Light gold color. Solid as usual and consistent with the last bottle. Lots of bright apple, light, crisp and fresh.
