last bottle. cork wet prt way up but intact...really soft tho. color showing the age here. on palate this is totally resolved and to me tastes like older burg. more old world than new world. still has fruit on the palate, and the structure is completely integrated. like the previous bottle this has definitely peaked....would drink it if you have some left. too bad these guys aren't still around - this was a treat.

peaked i think. cork wet to top, but the wine is intact and delish. telltale spice and cola from the area. core of fruit intact. very enjoyable but will not hold remaining bottle for long

Wow! This wine really surprised me. I wasn't expecting much from an 8 year old Pinot but the cherry and earth really came through. I liked this more than most 08 pinots I've had recently. It actually tasted more like a ribbon ridge wine than a Dundee hills wine. Just enough acid to be enjoyable with food, but not too much.

PNP. Cork wet 1/3rd but intact. Color ruby w light bricking. Nose cola and earth. Swishing shows mostly acid structure, elevating the cherry and earth flavors w good glycerin laden finish. Tannins mostly resolved. Sipping even more luscious. It sounds cliche but this actually reminds me of burgundy more than most new world producers. Too bad you can't find this anymore because they really had it going on with this one.

This has some cherry mixed with red fruit and earth. It's a little light and acidic, but did taste well with chicken and has opened up with time.
