Funky nose of natural cider and American black walnuts. Moderate weight in the mouth, and outstanding sherry like finish with loads of salt, toffee, green olives and ample acidity. Really impressed with both the balance and complexity of this wine!

Mature golden color, on the nose quite dry, maderized like an older, fuller bodied sherry. On palate bone dry, it jumps at you; needs a moment of getting used to. Essentially like a good high toned sherry. It overwhelmed the cod we were having not with. Would go well as an accompaniment to tapas such as Parma or Pata Negra ham, almonds, olives etc.

Bruised apple and cashew nut, oxydized, waxy and chalky on the palate. A great, funky Jura wine -- but still crisper, leaner, and less dirty than others I've tried in this style. A winner if you like Jura whites with some oxy and grip.

Not as austere as other savagnins I've had. The usual characteristics were more a coloration of a mineral-driven wine with a little white fruit. Soft overall, very fresh and not too tensioned. A nice new style for me.

Ce n'est vraiment pas mon style de vin... désolé pour ceux qui aiment... nez de noix et beaucoup d'amertume en bouche.
