Shared with pat at Selkirk Manor to celebrate the end of the work week. This is a reliable producer who makes a better than average montelulciano d'abruzzo. I wish I could have had more patience as this bottle has potential for further development. Ample dark fruit on the nose and palate. Firm grip. Truffle and soil typical of the region. Still need to try his single vineyard bottling. Looking forward to this.

Strong deep garnet in color it had cherry and dark berries on the nose. It is off dry with medium body, low acidity and soft tannins. Dark cherry, red prune and black berries on the palate with a hint of pepper and a medium finish. This is a very approachable, pleasant wine at a great price of $11 to be drunk with casual dinner or bbq.

Intense dark garnet with crimson hue, showing aromas of dark cherry, blue fruits, sweet fruits and a hints of smokiness. Fresh entry with red cherry, dark fruits and a touch of sweet leather. Pretty high acidity with firm and tannic structure, medium finish. Not bad but simple and straightforward.

Cor rubi enegrecido.

This was a very nice $12 bottle of wine. No pretense. Simple and straightforward with a good qpr.
