Even though this wine was past its “drink by” date, it was truly exceptional. It had aromas of green apple, lemon, and fresh grass and had a wonderful silky finish. It did not taste like an old Chardonnay, in fact, it was still very fresh. This wine definitely was able to handle the added aging.

The Luli Santa Lucia Highlands Chardonnay is a pale straw wine with a medium body. The nose features green apple and a hint of vanilla. Good acidity and minerality in the mouth with tastes of green apple, pineapple and tropical fruits. The finish has a lingering finish with oak, caramel and pineapple. Very nice overall. There's more layered complexity here, well worth the price.

This was one of the worst wines I have ever tasted...short and muted...terrible fruit and flavor. Very poorly put together and a terrible idea for a wine. Pisoni needs to disassociate themselves with this project ASAP! DO NOT BUY!
