PnP (well, unscrew and pour) with steak and sweet potato. This opened up nicely in 15 minutes with redolent aromas of mixed berries, black and blue fruits, wrapped in some nice spices. Easy drinker but delicious and a QPR star.

I don't understand the 89.5 average score on this. Just another example on how people mark down cheap wines and mark up expensive ones. If people had to score this blind I believe the average score would be a couple of points higher.
Tasted after 1 hour of air. Dark ruby. Opaque. Spicy fruit on the nose. Round black fruits with some good crunch. Well balanced. Tar, dusty tannins, blackberry fruits. Some nice lift. A spicy finish. Very nice effort. One of the best QPRs in Washington State.

Open an hour, then through aerator
With chili, then goat’s cheese, Iberico and Ossau Iraty. Syrah pepper and tar elements became increasingly dominant.
Best match with Ossau Irraty, by far
