Expressive bouquet with black olives, balsamic acid and rustic impressions. On the palate a full bodied wine with dark berries, cassis, beautiful and juicy acidity and a firm amount of sweetness.

It’s been five plus years since I last enjoyed this label. Structure is still very prominent but far less obtrusive than it was back in 2017. Ripe black and red fruits provide balance to the developing structure. Big finish. Great with hearty food.

Color: Deep opaque red, hints of purple. Nose: Blackberry, blueberry, spice, oak. Medium+ Body, Medium Acid. I actually think this is drinking pretty well right now. Aerated straight from the bottle. Lush fruit upfront, blackberries, anise, oak, hibiscus. Tannins still have some grip, with a bit of acid on the follow. I think it will be better in another 2/3 years, but it's drinking perfectly fine now.

At 7 years I was hoping the heat would have mellowed by now but it was still a touch too hot for my liking. Nice dark fruit with classic chocolate and chewy-ness but this was a little disappointing. But with expectations discounted this was still very good.

Blackberry fruit, with licorice, charcoal and oak. Tannins still present with some acid on the finish.
