A fine bead, with aromas of petrol, lemon and lime. Delicate, not complex. Opens up with some time in the glass. Feels a bit disjointed, with the sugar and acid at opposite ends, though nicely balanced. The acid is persistent. Lacking intensity. Good value at 16.
Aromatically dull, but a pleasantly lean, mineral palate with some faint lemony-white fruits. I'd not turn down a glass of this, but there are many things I'd rather drink at the same price point.

End of Year Sparklers, Mostly Champagne; 12/29/2012-12/30/2012 (SF Wine Trading Company): Light yellow. Toasted wood and sulfur. Ripe and weighty. Apple fruit, not too sweet. Finish is bitter, marred by the sulfur. I would not buy this.
