A smooth and well balanced riesling which reminded me of a kabinett without as much mineral. Flavors of honeyed lemon and a touch of mineral and balancing acidity. Drink this quite chilled.
This paired very well with jambalaya, adding a floral and fruit element. Me - 91, Wife - 93

Served with Turkey Tacos, good wine but not great. Slightly sweet, a bit high on the acidity but helps it cut through spicy foods. Citrus with some stone fruit on the nose and palate. Hasn't seemed to evolve much in the short time it has been stored, I would say drink up if you have it I'm not sure this one is going anywhere.

Quite a lime pith and mineral nose. Some developing aromas of petrol and a hint of honey; actually off dry, nice flavour with some herbal notes. A little short but good style.

(Long Shadows Poet's Leap Riesling Columbia Valley) A moderately aromatic wine with lime zest, stone fruit, wet stone and honeysuckle. The palate has a real zing of mouthwatering acidity offset by a touch of residual sugar. Give this one some time to open up in the glass to let it show its stuff. 100% Riesling. Sonnet (The Benches), Phil Church, Weinbau, and Dionysus vineyards. TA 0.81g/100ml. 1.3g/100ml Residual Sugar. 12.3% alcohol.
