Dinner at S.K.Y. (Chicago, IL): #16-80. This is surprisingly ripe and powerful, and shows a really lovely earthy tone, as well as a bit of green spice (still!). The fruit is mostly desiccated (prominently apricots) and the sugar has integrated into a round texture and comes off less as sweet. However, given the relatively weak vintage, this didn't survive for that long after opening, and got a little thin and acidic by the end of the dinner.

Casual dinner at S.K.Y.: Oh my -- i guess this is why aging sweet riesling is a wise move. So much richness, density and complexity to the wine. Aromatically and texturally layered. Good balance and freshness.
