Heavy oak treatment obscures everything I love about cab franc. There's no black currant, no spicy cherry, no herbaceousness. Basically, no typicity whatsoever. Sure, it's drinkable, but might as well be nero d'avola.

Mineral dominant, with developing red fruit and refreshing acidity. Occasional notes of hot peppers or smoked paprika.

Loads of good complex earthy aromas. Nice drinking.

Pepper, smoke, cherry... Lovely light tannins. Seems a bit young, but maybe just needs air.
Food pairing would be garlic chicken (of course), as well as rack of lamb or other grilled meets (esp with garlic).
