  • Popped n poured ten min after opening an sitting in my glass. Good balance but the tannins take over just a bit more than everything else. Easy drinker with or without food. I have several bottle so I’ve been experimenting recently to see the best showing of the wine It’s drinking great right out the gate. Drink up an enjoy if you please. No need to wait unless u like to. It still can go longer an still has great structure.
Opened up day two an I left the wine out of the fridge an I also didn’t pump the air out of it either. I feel that was a mistake. The wine went past it’s prime I won’t make this mistake again. Saying this so no one else does this as well.

  • Popped in poured on this one. Super smooth. As if it has been aging for a while longer than it actually has. Everything is kind of in sync . Flows like water. This is drinking great right out of the bottle. Revisit in one hour.

  • This wine is currently singing. I bought this Malbec early in my wine journey. Then was not as much of a fan of Malbec as I was when I purchased this. I have had over 10 bottles of this wine randomly throughout the last three years. I want to say this bottle is kicking ass. Beautiful acidity an tannin structure. Crisp tart red fruit flavors with mouth drying tannins an mouth watering acidity. I’m pairing this with steak an veggies but currently drinking it on its own. I also want to say I opened this bottle yesterday. Had a glass an went to sleep. Stored it in my regular refrigerator sideways to allow more air to hit the wine and today it’s spectacular. Lil heavy on the alcohol but hey what can u do about that. Beautiful nose for a 40 dollar wine, extremely dark an inky purple I’m going to open another bottle really soon an see if these are worth drinking now an not aging any longer. I wish I hadn’t drank all the one I previously did cause this is the best bottle yet.

  • 2017 edition, stored in our Boretti wine fridge for the last two years.

    Deep dark color, long finish.
    Medium tannines, balanced wine.

Dark fruit, some oak. Bit sweet. Spices tabacco licorice and earthy.

Really a great wine, considering that Malbec is not my favorite wine, I would definitely buy this historic row’s edition again.

  • Way better than the Californian Ilaria Malbec. Smooth in comparison to these Californian Malbec. DEf in a good drinking window
