I can't say this bottle was flawed, but it certainly felt like it had aged prematurely. The round mouthfeel hid the acidity, and there was a faint but persistent bitter note in the mid palate. I wonder if this bottle came from the bottom of the barrel.

Notes from second day and from a half bottle. Nose is still a little tight, but has reductive matchstick notes, lemon citrus, flint, crushed rock, white flowers. Palate is more open but has similar flavors. Medium+ acidity gives it a lean, taut profile, which I love. I missed this is 750's, but my local shop got a bunch in 375's and I can see myself buying a lot of these for drinking over the next 5-7+ years. In a standard sized bottle, I think this will go 10-15 years from the vintage. I don't have a lot of experience with how wines age in half bottles, so I am wary of holding this too long, but at $22 full retail for a half bottle I can see myself drinking a lot of these.

Lemon, floral, with chalky minerality. Med body, med+ acidity, and a long bitter and mineral finish. One of my favorite Willamette Chardonnay producers.

Another delicious time with this wine. It’s exactly what I’m looking for when I reach for a classically styled Oregon Chardonnay. Reductive, but not flinty, clean, crisp with lemon and sliced Anjou pear and a fresh line of acidity. Intense, concentrated, and long. Delicious wine.

This was really excellent, needed about 45 min to open up and the last glass was surely the best. Strikes a beautiful balance between a round almost buttery mouthfeel, with ample verve and acidity. Really clean and right down the fairway in terms of profile, no exoticism or overripened fruit tones here.
