Lovely but quite inward Chardonnay with a ton of tension in reserve. Lemon building to pear and hazelnut on the nose, lemon and slate on the palate with a classy balance of extract and acidity. Well composed, long time to develop most likely, needs air right now. Cool toned all around, draws you in.

On the nose, aromas of light matchstick, salted buttered popcorn. Citrus, salty, pear. Solid acidity. This really shines once it warms a little and see some air.

This is good. Slightly closed, reductive on opening. Soon opens up to reveal nice fruit, classy oak, fairly restrained and fresh. Quite long. Only 12.6%. Chassagne would be the call blind I reckon.

Opened and poured. Tasted with food (tagliatelle with beef, in case you were wondering). Followed for about 2 hours enjoying the wine o. its own. Light straw color. Reductive nose with pear and green apple. Nice pearprogule with seaspray, stainless steel mineraloty and theT reductive note weaving in and out. Hazelnut on the back end. Lots of depth. Sufficient acidity. Enjoyable.
Diam 30 cork. 12.8% abv.

Some matchstick on the nose upon opening. Needed 30 minutes to open. Medium weight, loaded with minerality, pear, apple and a touch of lemon/lime on the palate. Plenty of acid to carry this a long way. Still quite young, would benefit from a short decant. 93 points
