Nope. If you want an exploration in unbalanced carignane—or any grape with high acid potential—here is your textbook example. Zero fruit. Zero character. All sour grapes, tannin, and brett (which may explain the tartness, and lack of fruit esters). I don’t mind brett, fwiw.
Maybe it was an off bottle from an off barrel. Sadly a drain pour for me.
Shipped straight from the producer and stored in my cellar for a month, so provenance should be okay assuming they are storing it well at the winery.

Agree it could last a couple more years and perhaps soften the structure, but a very nice wine with a mix of tart red and black fruits and some dark wood on the palate (but not harsh oak).
