A well-made wine with soft and round mouthfeel and some of the bouquet of a Melon de Bourgogne. It lacks the crispy, almost saline nuance that a Muscadet offers, obviously since it has its feet in a different soil. Not being from the Loire, it's not expected to taste like a Muscadet and is good on its own.

The previous note is spot on. This has an attractive nose that is in the vein of Muscadet but not a carbon copy. The palate is softer in texture than you'd find in the Loire, with a little more flesh and less tangy acidic bite. I really enjoyed this for its distinctiveness and its friendly, sippable expression on the palate.

Pale lemon yellow with green reflections with enticing green apple, chalk, lemon zest and oyster shell aromas. On the palate, it's light-bodied and dry with shimmering acidity. It shows green apple, lime, lemon zest flavors with an appealing chalky minerality. Medium finish.
