The pastel red had me thinking lipstick. But this is legit champs. Lots of blood orange with admirable power. Later we get toast, almonds, and this beautiful bitterness and dryness, anchored in elegance and finished with flamboyant fruit. This is now in my bubble repertoire! Hallelujah
The wine looks onion-skin colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like red currant, strawberry, raspberry, lemon and biscuity. It tastes like strawberry, raspberry, red currant, grapefruit, lemon, lime, apple, pear, mineral, apple blossom, baker's yeast, biscuity, leesy and bready. The body is medium. The wine has polished texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has high acidity.

(NV Taittinger Champagne Brut Prestige Rosé) Vibrant pink salmon in color, this fruit-forward wine features vibrant aromas of strawberry, peach, and apricot. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with bright red fruits, floral notes, and an underlying yeastiness. The mousse is fine, the finish is long, and the style is approachable and refreshing. Lot’s of red fruit. Nicely balanced but underperformed the (cheaper) 2018 Chapel Down drank at the same time. 89+
