Ruby, Orange rim. At first, Slender and closed aromatically with high acidity, fine tannins and muted fruit. Came around after several hours of decanting with classic nebbiolo notes of tobacco and cedar.

Decanted 1h. Garnet red with yellow rim, 4. Delicate nose, sweet red berries, paint/lacquer behind. Elegant and dry on the palate, red fruits, balanced tannins. Wait another five years.

Light warm-red hue, no deposit. High-toned, red-fruity nose with funny and surprising notes of mango, orange, watermelon and cucumber - like a fresh salad, quite unusual in the barolo context. Very fresh, pure and chalky taste, more acidic than tannic, though the finish surely doesn't lack grip. A really beautiful wine that shows new aspects for every bottle we open, but it's always a joy to drink for refreshment purposes. No signs of retirement, will hold and develop for at least a further three to four years, maybe more.

Interesting, thought-provoking blend of 70% nebbiolo, 25% barbera and 5% freisa, made in a traditional style. Dry, mineral, cleansing and refreshing.
