Medium+ aromas of lemon, peach, blossom, mango, vanilla, cedar, hazelnut. High refreshing acidity. Medium+ finish. Perhaps a touch reductive. Still a few more years to improve as more tertiary elements emerge.

Impressive at age 9. Nicely developed yellow color; oily. Nose with lemon and mineral, even a hint of orange blossom. Very nice mouthful of fruit; quite excellent in its presence and delineation. Lemony fruit laced with cream. Ripe and juicy. Really hitting all the right notes today. Not seeing any deterioration at all. At a $35 purchase price years ago, this was a smart buy. 5-12-17-8: 92/100.

Popped and poured. This is drinking very well right now. Bright medium yellow. Just a lovely stony, lemony, citrusy nose with a nice creamy component and hints of smoke and gunflint. Excellent presence in the mouth, with rich, ripe but restrained mineral-laden fruit. Long, pleasant finish. This developed very nicely since purchase. Probably at peak, but no signs of imminent decline, as it remains lively and crisp. 5-12-16-8: 91/100.

The best of the bottles I have opened. Creamy and rich in the mid-palate with lush white fruit of apples and pears with a mineral back-bone in the finish. Just lip-smacking good with fish to creamy sauces. This might seem expensive for Macon, but to me it is worth it for the body in the mid-palate that most of Macon's are missing.
