Piemonte: Back to the truffling!; 11/24/2022-12/3/2022 (Wineries and various restaurants): Not a wine that I was familiar with at all. This wine is a bit lower (300-360 meters) and thus not quite visible from the roof of the winery. It’s S-SW exposure which means it gets a bit more shade and is generally a cooler climate than the Molsino. 8 hectares. More tart fruits, a bit of plum, slightly spicy. It’s got a bit more heft to it somehow than the other wines. Reminds me a touch of forest floor. Also started to open and become more expressive with time. Very nice wine.
