I'm loving all the descriptions of the nose below, it is very unique, my own take on it was sandalwood, musk and a faint whiff of potpourri - it seems to owe as much to Maghrebi inspired incense as to Piedmont!
The palate is a complete departure from the smell, being red fruited, I thought principally strawberries (with a touch of cherry) with a lovely savoury/slightly animalistic edge (and we're nicely back to Piedmont with that). Nice cutting acidity. I suppose you could level a slight criticism of it being a little light, but at the same time, brilliantly unique.
Just a lovely wine and a pleasure to drink.

Light ruby, brilliant. Highly aromatic. Red fruit. Cherry Luden cough drops. Bright acid, fine but serious tannins. High energy. Elegant. Flavor intensity. Long finish. Dried herbs. Stunner. I love this.

Very distinctively herbal nose with a touch of sour cherry. Light bodied. Excellent acidity on finish, with a return to cherry rather than herbal. Elegant, enjoyable and the acidity bodes well as a food wine, especially for pairing this with lighter dishes and cheeses (thinking ricotta would work really well).

Quite good actually. Pale red, light yet substantive on the palate. Baking spices, light tannins, acidic and balanced.
