Lunch at Triple Crown (Chicago, IL): Drinking nicely now, and nowhere as exuberantly big as the Hospices Les St. Georges that I drank recently. Not as ripe and plush as that wine -- this is leaner, and honestly, more Morey in style. Red fruited and lifted, with ample weight. This drinks in a really Dujac style (sorry) though without that spice. The oak is quite prominent right now, but not in a bad way. I expect much upside in the future.

Already drinking very well, juicy with pretty aromatics. Will surely continue to improve over the next 10+ years, but I actually really enjoy it as it is right now.
